ADACHE GROUP ARCHITECTS awarded Architect of the Year
Fort Lauderdale, FL, October 17, 2014 – ARCHITECT OF THE YEAR award was presented to ADACHE GROUP ARCHITECTS by the Florida East Coast chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors at the 2014 ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet. Some estimated three hundred plus members and guests attended the gala ceremony where awards were presented to certain companies in the construction industry for their recognized excellent performance, which was held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
This year’s awards were presented to general and specialty contractors in several project type categories, while a few special achievement awards were presented to companies for their recognized accomplishments over the past two years. This is not only South Florida’s largest recognition of commercial, industrial and institutional construction projects; it is also the prelude to one of the nation’s most prestigious construction industry awards, the ABC National Excellence in Construction Eagle Award, the publication recognizes a Builder, Developer, Architect, and Community of the Year.
Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is amongst the top 50 trade organizations in the nation representing over 21,000 members. Founded on the merit shop philosophy, ABC and its 74 chapters help members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work.
ADACHE GROUP ARCHITECTS IS AWARDED PROJECT OF THE YEAR
The interior design division of Adache Group Architects of Ft Lauderdale Florida receives the interior design award for design excellence. The South Florida Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) held their annual SANDI AWARDS Banquet on June 20, 2014. The 2014 SANDI AWARDS presented by the IIDA for PROJECT OF THE YEAR was presented to the Adache Firm for the design of the Marriott Resort & Spa in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Adache Group Architects is internationally noted for their hospitality architecture and interior design, having designed more than 200 hotels and resorts in over 45 countries in 5 continents over the past four decades. The award was received at the awards banquet by the Adache interiors studio managers Greg Boreland and Yvonne Beiner.
The IIDA is an international interior design professional organization with twenty-nine area chapters and ten specialty forums around the world. The organization advocates for design excellence, disseminates industry information, nurtures a global interior design community, maintains educational standards, and responds to trends in business and design.

Audemars Piguet Bal Harbour Shops, Bal Harbour, FL. 2014 A.R.E. Design Award Winners, Hardline Specialty Store up to 3,000 sf. The 954-square-foot store creates an elegant homage to the Swiss countryside, where the brand's headquarters are located. The design blends contemporary angular millwork that pays tribute to the precision and design of the luxury watches on display with organic elements such as moss rock beds and Swiss quartz stone. Uniting millwork of changing angularity is the floating effect of cantilevered showcases. The 16-foot-long welcome desk is a floating counter that combines a showcase, wet bar and POS system. The lack of visible locks, hinges, pulls and other hardware enhances the clean, sleek look and avoids competing with the product's metal finishes.

Both Fort Lauderdale Projects Receive City Approval; Construction is Expected to Commence in Spring 2014 FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- March 10, 2014 -- Adache Group Architects has unveiled its design plans for two smoke-free boutique condominiums in Fort Lauderdale. The projects, which recently received city approval, are expected to start construction this Spring and be completed in 2015.
ADACHE GROUP ARCHITECTS UNVEILS DESIGNS FOR AQUAVITA LAS OLAS. The project consists of a 2-building, 5- story, 22-unit condominium project. The property is located at 60, 70 and 80 Hendricks Isle. The project is characterized as contemporary style architecture and is exemplified by simple and clean lines. The street façade along Hendricks Isle shows the modern balconies and geometric features which are well articulated, providing visual variety and interest without being overwhelming. The emphasis is on the horizontal orientation and reinforced with linear windows. Varying balcony lengths with glass handrails and floor to ceiling windows allows the building to feel light and transparent. The asymmetrical design of two buildings in lieu of one greatly reduces the scale and mass. The warmth of flag stone has an embracing residential feel and the organic texture will reflect shades and shadows depending on the time of day.
Adache Group Architects celebrates groundbreaking of Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort officially commemorated its groundbreaking in Hollywood, Florida on August 22nd. Margaritaville, known for the more than 17 Jimmy Buffet themed restaurants throughout the mainland US, Hawaii and the Caribbean, is now theming it’s third such resort hotel in a vision of several to come. This particular project is expected to be the catalyst for growth for Hollywood Beach.
Privage units begin at $2.4 million, will overlook Intracoastal Waterway Waterfront condominiums with prices starting at $2.4 million are planned for a small tract north of The Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale.
